A Fine Specimen

On Sunday, Beith drove me over to Bridgwater, to show me the pumps the Dutch were using to pump away the flood water. Getting to Bridgwater Dock we found that they were gone. Walking around the Dock, I saw a sign saying "NO DUMPING, NO FISHING" yet not 20yds away, guys were fishing. As we passed a couple of them, one guy saw my camera and asked if I could take a photo of a fish he'd caught. He'd forgotten his camera. I walked over to him & he told me the fish was a Common Carp Cyprinus carpio and weighed in at 23lbs 2oz. Some fish He had it in a special sling/net, and hauled it up. I took a few shots for him then he got into the water & released it.
The fisherman was Andrew Beckett-Longstaff.  I emailed the shots to him and he was pleased with them. Job done.
