Description
On Saturday, Beith drove us up to Deer Leap, on the tops of the Mendip Hills, near Wookey Hole. We walked about for a couple of hours, and on our way back, spotted a very interesting looking tree in the distance. As we drew close we noticed it was an Ash, hollow, with a large gash in its side. Beith cleared some rubbish and found a rock embedded in the centre, she sat down on it, and I walked around the trunk taking photos of the bark, rot & fungi. I saw this hole, focused on Beith and called her. You see the result.
I've always thought Beith was an Ash & Willow woman.
