 the other day in longmont we came across a sculptor that craved out of old cotton wood tree stumps......it was wonderful to watch. The only tools i saw was a chain saw and a big chisel . He had finished one already of a indian and working on a eagle for another and then there was one more big tree trunk and im sure he will be doing that one to

There's a lot of chainsaw sculpture around these days.
At Westonburt Arboretum, they regularly have exhibitions
and sculptors working on fresh pieces. One guy created
sculptures of British Wildlife, Deer, Badger, Fox, Eagle, Stoat etc.
Next time I go there I'll make sure I've got my cameras.

The square fans insist on totally square ;)

I would imagine he'd be well pleased with them, good documentation and certainly worthy of catalogue use.

A pleasure Will
