Rings on Her Fingers

This piece is excellently composed. The perspective and framing strikes a perfect balance; it has enough space to suggest the woman's gaze out the window, but is composed tightly enough to make the image seem focused and even more poignant.
The jewelry at the center of the frame makes me wonder if there are stories behind each ring and he earrings she is trying to recall.
The other technical aspects of this picture are also great. The colors are varied and balanced quite well. The lighting is just enough that all the detail comes through and the image looks bright without anything being washed-out.
