Shoaling Chub

A large shoal of Chub Leuciscus cephalus in the river at the foot of Beith's garden. They're a rather flighty fish, so I took this some 15ft up, sat on the patio wall.
As Beith is not a smoker I go outside, sit on the wall and have a rollie. Sometimes the Chub are below, so I get some bread, break it up small & throw it in.
A feeding frenzy takes place
There's a lot of wildlife there, Heron, Kingfisher, Egret, Otters, well I found some spraint, and Badgers & Foxes, along with all the songbirds you'd expect to find on the edge of the Somerset Levels. I love being there.
