Thank you for reminding me Will, I have to start making mask bases and cutting leaf shapes=D I'll be making green man masks with my arts and crafts kids after the mid-term break.

:D I've got to make a couple for Earth Hart to wear, an Oak King & a Holly King,
as he's performing at the Pilton (Glastonbury) Festival this year ;)
Just wish I knew how to make them in latex instead of "Gyprock", as it's too heavy.

Many thanks for the favour m'deer :cuddle:

I should get my hubby on to talk to you, he's made latex masks =D
I checked out green man masks online a while back, there are some wonderful
leather ones available.
:whisper:Lino (acrylic floor covering) and table lino are my favorite "unusual" materials for costumes and mask making, though it can be heavy if it's a big mask. Hubby had to make carnival masks on a shoestring budget for a Lynx promotion, most of them were made from lino. I've made Roman Legion skirts from good quality table lino, a good paint job and it looks like leather =D

With latex, you can still get emotion to show, as it moves with the face,
whereas leather & gyprock don't.

I've noted you contact numbers & email address, thanks m'deer

I'm having flashbacks, people sitting in my kitchen wearing swimming hats, having plaster bandage casts made of their faces and heads ;)
I hope he can be of some assistance =D

:D When it comes to my masks Beith's the administrator, bless her.
They are full face & skullcap, so the antlers have a base to grow from ;)
To say thanks I cook a nice meal for her

It'll be great to hear from him :D

I didn't carve it, it was done by a guy who's name I can't remember,
for the Bishop's Palace. It hangs there, at the entrance to the Chapel.
