I've got to make a couple for Earth Hart to wear, an Oak King & a Holly King, as he's performing at the Pilton (Glastonbury) Festival this year Just wish I knew how to make them in latex instead of "Gyprock", as it's too heavy.
I should get my hubby on to talk to you, he's made latex masks I checked out green man masks online a while back, there are some wonderful leather ones available. Lino (acrylic floor covering) and table lino are my favorite "unusual" materials for costumes and mask making, though it can be heavy if it's a big mask. Hubby had to make carnival masks on a shoestring budget for a Lynx promotion, most of them were made from lino. I've made Roman Legion skirts from good quality table lino, a good paint job and it looks like leather
